Feature Film / Your 100 Year Life
Concept Development / Creative Direction / Animation Production / Publicity
The documentary Your 100-year life, by risk management professor and Cardano founder Theo Kocken, stages a mind-blowing representation of the parlous state of old-age provision, all over the world. Mixing personal stories and expert analysis with humour and optimism, in a unique way.
It’s not too late yet Your 100-year life shows how even the richest countries have been brought to this point. Yet, there are genuine grounds for hope. It’s not too late yet. Providing we rethink the concept of retirement in general, and of old age, the quality of life as a pensioner and financing it in particular. It will make your hundredth anniversary something to celebrate.
Trailer

Our brief was to explain what happened in the GFC of 2008 and how we should be learning from the mistakes of the past. The target audience being the person who buys the newspaper but throws away the money section.

Our Solution as always is to capture the audiences imagination and attention. This project involved interviews, puppetry, animation and song an otherwise boring subject becomes entertaining and educational.

Our Outcome was a documentary feature film that premièred in 2015 in New York and London with global screenings in theatres, banks and educational organisations. Distribution continued via VOD services Netflix, iTunes, Vudu, Amazon. Boom Bust Boom is doing what it should in educating, entertaining and proposing a simple idea — lets adapt economics to human nature.

We are very proud to have collaborated with our friends Terry Jones and Bill and Ben Productions on this unique project. We collaborated on a daily basis throughout the edit, animation production and importantly refining the tone of voice of the finished film.
The film was told with honesty and humour, two important attributes that helped educate and entertain today's audiences.

"Boom Bust Boom suggests a simple solution, change the teaching and the new generation of economists will change the system"
